Diabetes Risk Assessment

This diabetes screening tool uses the FINDRISC questionnaire to estimate your risk of developing type II diabetes in the next ten years. It is not a diagnostic tool and won't tell you whether you will get diabetes or not. If you have any questions about your health you should see your GP.

There are lots of factors that can contribute towards your risk of type II diabetes, some that you can control, others you can't. The ones that you can control include watching your weight, increasing your activity levels, eating more healthily and quitting smoking. If anyone in your family has type II diabetes, you should be particularly careful with your own health. The early stages of diabetes are normally 'silent' - that means there are no symptoms. Taking the quick test below will give you an idea of whether you are at risk or not.

If you would like to have a consultation with me to help you improve your diet and lifestyle, then please contact me.
